Tom grew up in Brisbane, and completed his dental degree (with Honours) at University of Queensland in 1998. After graduating he worked in private practice in Brisbane and UK before undertaking his orthodontic training.

Tom is a Registered specialist in Orthodontics, having completed a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) at the University of Queensland. He is a member of Australian Society of Orthodontists and has undertaken further study to gain membership to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Like Colin, Tom keeps up to date with the latest technologies, treatment philosophies, and regularly attends orthodontic conferences. He aims to provide treatment options based on the best available scientific evidence.
Tom is a devoted husband and father to his wife Caitlin and their 2 young daughters His hobbies include cycling, tennis, sailing and music (although the Wiggles have dominated his CD collection in recent times).
